Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be used for multiple purposes. It can be transformed from a single stroller into double strollers by adding an additional seat (sold separately) or a glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection can be configured to be a triple travel system by adding an infant car seat. It offers 24 options and is a top-ranked stroller overall. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger's soft and breathable, sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate the temperature. It features a premium leatherette handlebar as well as a bumper bar and comes with the belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a moderate-sized shade and a magnetic peek-aboo window, which is easy to open and close. The telescoping bar can be one of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline, and they have a footwell adjustment knob to allow you to place your child for maximum comfort. The storage bin has plenty of room, but we would have preferred a more secure latch. It's easy to access, but we discovered the zippers to be a bit difficult to use since they must be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
Like its siblings Like its brothers, the City Select has single-action brakes that are simple to set and release by the pull of a lever on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It is sandal- and barefoot friendly and an improvement over the awkward brake levers that some competitors use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed that can accept two infant seats. It's an excellent choice for parents who have twins or an infant on the way. It can be used with all major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models as well as the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a great option for families who already have a car seat but need a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you might be better served with another convertible stroller in this case.
